Megatouch Booting ERROR 0271 Check Date/Time-HELP PLEASE
I am fixing up a Megatouch Maxx Sapphire in which I put in a
refurbished hard drive and key. I turn on the machine and it gives me
the error to check date and time settings. I did try to hook up the
keyboard to fix it according to Merit but it did not work. This is
the procedure I did:
Following is the Itox motherboard CMOS configuration. You will need a
keyboard to do the CMOS configuration. Plug the keyboard into the top
or purple PS2 port.
1 - Plug in a keyboard and turn on the game.
2 - Press F2 to enter Phoenix BIOS Setup Utility.
3 - Press F9 to load Setup Default.
4 - At Setup confirmation, press ENTER with YES shaded. Check time &
5 - Press F10, save and exi
6 - Press ENTER for confirmation with YES shaded, then unplug the
7 - The system should reboot.
Any idea why this did not work? Any other procedure I can try? Is
there a certain part that would be bad on a board rather than saying
"a board is bad"?
THANKS IN ADVANCE, LEE
